European Recession to Be `Mild,' BNP Paribas Says

Feb. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Philippe D'Arvisenet, chief global economist at BNP Paribas SA, discusses the outlook for the euro-zone economy after France's fourth-quarter gross domestic product unexpectedly rose 0.2 percent from the third quarter. D'Arvisenet, speaking from Paris with Owen Thomas and David Tweed on Bloomberg Television's "Countdown," also discusses Greece's debt woes and French banks.
