EU Summit: Tony Blair final attendance / Treaty negotiations

Prime Minister Tony Blair has been locked into tough negotiations at the European Union Leaders' Summit over proposals for a new treaty to reform the EU. Blair has insisted he will not back down on the 'red lines' - five key areas he feels are should not appear in the proposed agreement. He has been criticised for accepting French demands to water down economic competition commitments. The summit marks his last appearance on the international stage.
