Ellen Allien is .all over the place.! The German techno diva has just released her third album, .Thrills., which got excellent reviews in the dance press. If you think that techno is nothing but pounding dance beats thundering by, empty of all emotion, you should listen more carefully. Ellen Allien mixes techno with electro and even avant-garde rock, creating a dreamy sound, which is sultry and exciting at the same time. While celebrating the 10th anniversary of her BPitch Control label, the First Lady of techno also promoted two new lines of her own spring and summer collection. In August Ellen Allien invites you all to come and dance at Pukkelpop. Her friends and BPitch Control colleagues Paul Kalkbrenner and Moderat will be there as well.
