This is Eleanor Powell in the film Broadway Melody of 1936. She already made some cameos in other 3 films before this one but always uncredited. This was her first starring film and this lovely tap dance routine the first one in the movie. The song is Sing Before Breakfast. We have brothers Buddy and Vilma Ebsen dancing on a roof terrace before Eleanor appears. then she joins them for breakfast and taps in the only way she could do. What a number! It is a very sweet routine, really attractive. Her legs kicks legendary. Enjoy!!
