EDUCATION: Soho primary school expands thanks to child's letter

Soho Parish School, located in an area famous for brothels, sex shops and strip joints, is to gain much-needed new space by acquiring the lease of the building next door. Funds were raised for the purchase from within the Soho residents' community but the expansion was made possible by a pupil's letter to Prime Minister Tony Blair.
