This video describes how Gainesvilles own Eastside High School students and their teacher found Native American ancient dugout canoes on a field trip to Newnans Lake. The Florida Museum of Natural History and the Florida Bureau of Archaeological Research revealed the worlds largest archeological find 101 dugout canoes buried along the lakes shoreline in 2000.
