Dolphin Entanglement Rescue

Explore Research at the University of Florida Mike Walsh a Clinical Associate Professor of Veterinary Medicine describes the danger fishing line can pose to dolphins if they swim through it. The line can get tangled around their flippers tail fins and mouth and start to cut through flesh when constant drag is applied. Walsh explains what UF and some other organizations are doing to save dolphins in these situations but that they are still working on a long term solution.
