Doctor Who - Series 4 Launch

London: April 1st 2008: Apollo West End. Doctor Who. New season launch event. Another off-topic excursion while the premiere season drags itself into life. Just around the corner from the Square is the Apollo cinema. This evening, several of the past Doctors, Doctor's assistants and production gurus gathered for the launch of the 4th series of the modern era. I was fortunate enough to get my pictures signed by many of the great and the good. As a bonus, a couple of days earlier I met Tom Baker the definitive Doctor in many folks eyes. He was most gracious when I asked him for an autograph and a picture. He wasn't at this event though. David Tennant is the current Doctor and the crowds went wild when he arrived. He remembered me from yesterday when my friend Nick and Sean spotted him in Piccadilly Circus and we had our picture taken. I printed it and he signed it for me. A lovely man. Also there was genuine movie star Simon Pegg (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0670408/ ). He's appeared in the Dr Who series as well as hits like Shaun of the Dead and Run Fat Boy Run.
