Disney World monorail crash kills driver

(NECN/WFTV: Orlando, Florida) - Lawrence Owens and his family were ready to board a monorail at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, when they witnessed a horrific crash. "The train never stopped. It plowed right into the front of the train," Owens said. Two monorail trains crashed early Sunday, killing one train's operator, emergency officials said. The operator, 21-year-old Austin Wuennenberg, died at the scene of the crash, which occurred around 2 a.m. The other train operator was not injured, but was taken to the hospital, as he was emotionally shaken. read more
