Deer sneaks into a hotel

A deer wandered into a hotel lobby in China earlier this week, before being shot with a tranquiliser gun. Video by CCTV showed the large, woodland animal as it wandered around the lobby on Tuesday. The deer drank water from the entrance fountain and water display. Hotel staff then called animal rescue staff from a zoo, and they came to take the deer away. Animal protection staff shot the animal using an "anaesthetic" gun. The anaesthetic in the dart temporarily put the animal to sleep so that the rescue staff could move the deer to the zoo.
