Over 400,000 civilians in Darfur have been killed by means of violence, malnutrition, and disease. In addition, over 2.5 million people have been displaced from their homes, most of them forced to flee to refugee camps in Chad. The Janjaweed is mostly to blame for this genocide. The Janjaweed is an Arab-militia that raid African villages in order to take control of the scarce primary resources in the region. The Sudanese Government is doing nothing about it.
