RAPEX, the European Rapid Alert System, is getting better and better at detecting dangerous toys. Meglena Kuneva, Member of the EC in charge of Consumer Protection, will present on 17/04/2008 the conclusions of the 2007 RAPEX Report. The Commissioner will outline the work undertaken on product safety - with the toy industry, international partners (China and the USA) and Member State surveillance authorities – and set out in more detail the outstanding initiatives foreseen in 2008.
