He had four drink driving convictions but half way through his jail sentence - Sam Sturnham was released - and fitted with an electronic tag. He had a curfew of seven pm - and the equipment could tell when he was at home. But - using a brief trip to hospital as an excuse - the 29 year old went on a huge binge drinking session. After 21 pints - he got into a fight - and ended up killing Christian Noble - who had simply stepped in to try and break it up. Today - Sturnham was sent to jail for six years. Christian's family say the case proves that tagging isn't working.
