A man who killed a priest by stabbing him in the grounds of his church as he tried to run away has pleaded guilty to manslaughter. Twenty four year old Geraint Evans was sentenced to indefinite detention at a mental hospital for killing Father Paul Bennett. The court was told that Evans had heard the voice of God and the devil urging him to carry out the savage attack. Father Bennett's family protested against the sentence for manslaughter - insisting that it was in fact a 'brutal murder'.
