CRIME: Chess champion Jessica Gilbert's father on trial for rape following her death

Jessica Gilbert, who had taken part in European and World Chess Championships was 19 when she fell out of a hotel window in the Czech Republic, where she had been taking part in a tournament. Her father has now gone on trial at Guildford Crown Court for sexually abusing and raping her. Ian Gilbert is accused of committing the crimes when his daughter Jessica was eight years old.
