CRIME: Billy Cox murder: Mural in memory of Billy is to be removed by local council

A bitter row has broken out between a grieving family and their local council. Billy Cox's friends and loved ones commissioned a special mural to be graffitied onto the wall near his home - they believed it was a fitting memorial to the teenager who was shot on 14th february 2007. Unfortunately Lambeth Council did not agree. They are threatening to whitewash the wall because of the effect it could have on the value of other homes on the estate and claim the graffiti was illegal in the first place.
