CRIME: Andrew Bennett sentenced after car crash death of girlfriend Kirsty Cash

Kirsty Cash was seventeen when she was flung through the windscreen of her boyfriend's car, as he crashed into a tree at high speed. But Andrew Bennett had been banned from driving. Refusing to ring 999 he took Kirsty home, where, limp and obviously injured, she later died. Doctors said could have lived had she gone to hospital. Bennett has been given an "indeterminate" life sentence, but could be released in four years.
