Crews check for environmental damage after tanker crash

(NECN: Chicopee, Mass.) - Crews are still on the scene in Chicopee, Massachusetts Friday night. The driver of the truck was seriously injured but luckily, no one else was seriously hurt or killed. It was a scary sight along Interstate 91. A tanker truck carrying diesel fuel and gasoline crashed and exploded moments after it was cut off by another northbound vehicle. The tractor itself remained on the highway. The trailer, full of fuel and gas, rolled down the embankment. The accident occurred around 9:30 Friday morning. read more
