The second track is Roo's Tubes. Just like Crash Cove, it's a simplistic level. But it's also very, very difficult to beat Oxide on this one. I'd say it's in the top 3 hardest. He was right behind me the entire time. That small shortcut at the end you HAVE to do, as far as I know, else he WILL pass you out, because as you should already know, Oxide takes every single shortcut possible, and cuts every corner while powersliding. So you need to do the same, but faster. Make sure you're in boosted status when you're going off that tiny jump into the shortcut or you will slow down. Don't jump after you land either, it's slower from what I can tell. If you're still in boosted status you should be able to power slide out of it faster. And as fast as that was, I still came short of beating my record time. -- Q: What happens when you beat Oxide's time on a track? A: You get a white star next to the track name on the selection screen Q: What happens when you beat all of Oxide's times? A: You unlock Scrapbook option at main menu that lets you watch the Scrapbook. It's no different than watching it after getting the 101% ending. But you get to feel proud for accomplishing the most difficult challenge in the game, something a lot of players can't do in this game. Q: How do you unlock Oxide's ghost for a track? A: Do a Time Trial race on any track and do well. If your time is low enough, N. Tropy will challenge you. If you beat his time, you'll go up against Oxide's ghost. Q: How do you keep doing those boosts? A: It's called Power Sliding. If you have the game, go into the Help section of Adventure Mode to learn how to do it correctly. Q: Is it possible to unlock Oxide? A: No. Maybe using a cheat device or if you're playing a ROM, but not a legit method. There's no push button code for him, such as one for Penta Penguin as a racer.
