(NECN) - It's a custody battle that continues to make national headlines: Two Virginia women, joined in civil union in Vermont eight years ago, fighting over the custody of their daughter. It has become especially complicated because one of the women now lives in Vermont, and the other in Virginia, where civil unions are not recognized.
