COMFORT in Perilous Times, part 7

God has a People, the objects of His special favour: a company whom He has taken into such intimate relationship to Himself that He calls them My People. Often they are incapable of being consoled: The reasons are many, theres their natural corruption's, the temptations of Satan, and of course the cruel treatment of the world. The God of all Comfort (2 Cor. 1:3) is very tender of them, and it is His revealed will that His servants should bind up the broken-hearted and pour the balm of Gilead into their wounds. What cause have we to exclaim as it says in Micah 7:18… Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy Comfort in Perilous Times is a new 12 part series.
