Climate Trackers: Walrus

Hello, IÂ’m a walrus, an amphibious marine mammal. No, IÂ’m not fat, just well-padded. 1 ton, thatÂ’s all. Anyway, in these Arctic regions a bit of fat helps against the icy wind. Do you like my two tusks? TheyÂ’re made of ivory! I use them as ice picks. My life would be a long and happy one, if I wasnÂ’t a victim of global warming. A few degrees more, and the food chain will be disrupted and my sea ice will melt. The sea ice is my home patch, just a short swim from my larder.
