Scientists have been predicting a global increase in extreme weather conditions, due to global warming factors and climate change. During June 2007, Romania suffered its worst drought in 60 years, with temperatures soaring to 45 °C, while Greece experienced their worst heat wave in 110 years and, as a result, had to battle with hundreds of forest fires. This infoclip will contain the following footage: - Drought problems in the Romanian countryside, near Bucharest (Romania) - Heatwave and government health measures, Bucharest (Romania) - Forests fires on Mount Parnitha, near Athens (Greece).
