Cleaners hung out to dry

Three window cleaners left hanging 15 storeys up when scaffolding collapsed have been rescued. Fire crews rappelled down the side of the 31-storey M&I Bank building in Indianapolis in the midwestern US after the accident on Thursday afternoon. The cleaners had been left dangling by their safety harnesses for several hours. There was no immediate word on what caused the platform they were standing on to give way.
