
(NECN) - The Citigroup bailout is being credited for boosting Wall Street for a second straight day. The Dow Jones industrial average jumped nearly 397 points -- for its largest two-day point gain in history closing at 8,443. The Nasdaq composite climbed 87 points, or six percent, to close at 1,472. The S-&-P 500 rose 51 points -- more than six percent, to finish at 851. Regionally -- Bloomberg’s New England index gained nearly 15.5 points.
