CHRISTMAS DAY RACE - THE PETER PAN CUP 2007

The Serpentine Swimming Club's annual Christmas Day race for the Peter Pan Cup, presented by the Greenbury family. The race is over a distance of 100yds and members start at different times based on the handicapper's assessment of their abilities over the season. Theoretically, all should finish at about the same time but that doesn't always happen. The ice from the weekend had melted and the water temp had gone up to 37F (2.8C). Rain was the order of the day. The race was won by Paul! 2nd Leanne, 3rd Yoko, 4th Brian and 5th Geoff. www.serpentineswimmingclub.com Includes pictures by Ali-G - thanks!
