China Paratroopers Dived Into Cut-off Epicentre

14/05 early noon (local time), earthquake centre (totally cut-off for 2 days), weather--ok (short time window), landing area--bad (mountainous). short of helicopters & unstable weather, PLA decided to send paratroopers in to set up communication network & guidance for the following drop-off. 15th paratrooper army, 4,000 metres high. 15 soldiers parachuted off in the first 2 test-run, led by a senior colonel (brigadier general in the west). the rest 100-strong parachuting was cancelled due to worsening weather & rugged terrain. wish the suffering people be saved asap. wish the deseased rest in peace.
