China confirms Tibetan executions

China confirms Tibetan executions

Chinese authorities have confirmed what are thought to be the first known executions over 2008's violence in Tibet.Pro-Tibetan groups and the Tibetan government-in-exile said two men were executed. They have been named as Lobsang Gyaltsen and Loyak.The men were sentenced in April for starting fires during the Lhasa riots that killed at least 22 people in March 2008.Micky Bristow reports from Beijing.
