Charley Boorman goes solo for latest trip

Charley Boorman leaves best mate Ewan McGregor behind this time for his latest trip By Any Means. The English actor and adventurer travelled from Ireland to Sydney, going across 24 countries by several modes of local transportation excluding air travel. In 2007, he and McGregor completed the journey from Scotland to South Africa in Long Way Down, riding a motorcycle through 18 countries. The programme is a reminder of time before air travel and will be on air this autumn.
