Cattle disease spreads
Brucellosis has been widely spread among the residents of the village of Rachisubani, the district of Lagodekhi. The locals got the infection from the cattle. The population culls the cattle. Reportedly the cattle got infected through pastures. 26 people undergo treatment at home. Tina Lobjanidze(resident of Rachisubani): - I take care of the cattle and got the infection. My hand has been cut and as I always feed the cattle the infection went into blood. Then I felt bad. I have not had a fever, joints have not been aching. But the pain was worse than I’ve had during the joints aching. Tariel Lobjanidze(resident of Rachisubani): - It is contagious. Cattle can be infected from other cattle, a bull can be infected and spread the disease among the other cattle. The pastures also can be infected. Bela Mangishvili(resident of Rachisubani): - We have not had such diseases. We can not say, whose fault it is and what are the reasons. Our entire cattle are dead. We are left without food
