BUSINESS: Farepak collapse: Company's bank denies blame

HBOS (the bank formed from Halifax and Bank of Scotland) were the bankers for Farepak, the failed Christmas club company which lost thousands of pounds of its customers' savings. HBOS have insisted that they were not in any way to blame for Farepak's collapse. However, ITV News has been shown evidence that Farepak asked them to ringfence customers' savings, which they failed to do.
