Ottawa's Burmese Community celebrated the Burmese New Year and Water Festival event in Ottawa on April 15, 2006. The local children performed Burmese tradtitinal dance even though they have never put their feet in Burma.But They are Burmese and maintain their cultural heritage whereever they are.
