Britney Spears back in hospital
Britney Spears has been taken to hospital in Los Angeles where she is expected to undergo a mental health evaluation.It is thought Spears will be at the UCLA Medical Centre for at least 72 hours, where she is being assessed under a 5150 psychiatric hold - meaning she is a danger to herself and others.Up to 100 hundred reporters and paparazzi were outside the star's home as she was taken away.The American media are claiming the singer's psychiatrist called for help after meeting with the troubled mother-of-two at her house last night.Spears was first hospitalised less then a month ago after a confrontation with police outside her home in LA.Police were called after the singer refused to hand her two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline back to their father, who currently has legal custody.US chat show host Barbara Walters has said Spears' self-proclaimed "manager" and companion Sam Lufti told her in a phonecall that the singer suffers from "mental issues" and has seen a psychiatrist.© Independent Television News Limited 2008.
