Boston Pops Peform A "Charlie On The MTA" Medley, Live!

During one of the commercial breaks - in the middle of the July 4th, 2007 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on the Esplanade, the Pops entertained the live audience of nearly 400,000 with a cover of the Kingston Trio's - "Charlie On The MTA" - an old Boston folk song about the T. Pops conductor, Keith Lockhart leaves the orchestra at one point to do a quick jig with the host for the national television audience, Craig Ferguson. While dancing, Lockhart drops his wireless mic, and has to scramble to pick it up in the rain. Shot By: Jonathan Paula.
