Boston fire truck smashes into apartment building

BOSTON (AP) - A Boston Fire Department ladder truck has crashed through a brick wall and into a high-rise apartment building. Several other vehicles have been smashed in the accident Friday. A fire department spokesman told WHDH-TV that the truck apparently barreled down Parker Hill Avenue, went through the intersection at Huntington Avenue and slammed into the Roxbury Tenants of Harvard complex. The truck lodged into the side of the building, several feet past a destroyed wall. There are reports of injuries, but the number and extent are uncertain. read more
