They were presented with the Award by Dave Stewart and Kara DioGuardi (from Platinum Weird). The show was hosted by Dermot O'Leary. Other inductees were James Brown, Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart, Brian Wilson, Prince, Dusty Springfield and Sir George Martin. After receiving the award, the Band took the stage to perform an acoustic version of Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted Dead or Alive (both taken from the Slippery When Wet album) and It's My Life (from the Crush album).
