Bodybuilding firefighter Arroyo faces mail fraud charge

(NECN: Boston, Mass.) - The Boston firefighter who took part in a bodybuilding contest after filing a permanent disability claim is facing federal fraud charges. The U.S. Attorney's Office said Alberto Arroyo has been indicted on a mail fraud charge related to his application for a disability pension. Last year, Arroyo competed in a bodybuilding contest just weeks after claiming he had become permanently disabled. Two other fire department workers are also facing fraud-related charges.
