The New Forest National Parks Authority was created in 2006 to protect the unique environment of the New Forest on Englands south coast. With the publication of the NPA plan for the forests future that environment seems to be under threat from the very organisation created to protect it. Ian Johnson, New Forest Organiser for the BNP explains part of the plan which calls for a massive building project which will undoubtedly swallow up an extensive area of green belt land. More reports will follow on this important development in the New Forest which has widespread opposition amongst the local population there.
