Blunt probed over 'hit and run'

Police in Los Angeles are probing whether crooner James Blunt may have been involved in a hit and run incident.An alleged victim claims Blunt's car ran over his foot as the star was leaving a pre-Oscar party on Saturday, but just kept on going.The singer's spokesperson, Sheila Richman, said Blunt was leaving the party going at "about two miles per hour" when he was swarmed by paparazzi.Ms Richman added that he was "trying to navigate his car through all of the people" as he left the party.It is believed that Blunt was accompanied in the car by supermodel Petra Nemcova.Blunt received Grammy nominations this year for song and record of the year but lost in both categories to the Dixie Chicks.© Independent Television News Limited 2007.
