Blue Whale Expedition - May 2008 video4

Shannon Martinson and Maria Forzan cut chunks of flesh away from the whale's vertebrae, using freshly-sharpened knives (the Atlantic Veterinary College team brought 3 specially trained people who will do nothing but sharpen knives). They discover a piece of loose bone, which they tuck back into place so it can be properly catalogued. Shot on May 16th by Kim Woolcock
