Beyoncé has kicked off the North American leg of her "I Am...Sasha Fierce" tour in New York. Dressed in a gold leotard designed by Thierry Mugler, the singer performed her hit Crazy in Love to fans at Madison Square Garden. Her rapper husband Jay Z joined her on stage to give her some back up on the song. However that was the moment the cameras filming the show decided to stop rolling. It is reported that just before arriving in the Big Apple, Beyoncé filed a lawsuit against unnamed peddlers of bootleg merchandise. The singer wants to prevent anyone selling knock-off CDs, shirts, and other goods at her two Manhattan shows. After New York, Beyoncé is heading to Baltimore and Washington, as part of a US tour that will run to August 2.
