Best of Peyton Hillis 2008 Highlights

2008 Rushing stats: 68 ATT, 343 YDS, 5.0 AVG, 28.6 YPG, 5 TD 2008 Receiving stats: 14 REC, 179 YDS, 12.8 AVG, 14.9 YPG, 1 TD Fantasy scouting report: Hillis was at the end of a loaded running back rotation in 2008 behind Lamont Jordan, Michael Pittman, and Ryan Torain. When the injury bug devastated Denver's running corps, however, HIllis used the opportunity to show off his strong running style and good receiving skills. He tore his right hamstring in December, but now that he's back and healthy the FB is going hard in camp. "I'm not a little, shifty guy who likes to make moves," Hillis explains. "I like to be a straight-line guy, run over somebody if I can." Coach McDaniels has been giving him more snaps at tailback during training camp and likes his versatility. At Arkansas, Peyton played fullback, tailback, tight end, wide receiver and kick returner. Though the backfield is crowded again with Jordan, Correl Buckhalter, Ryan Torain and Knowshon Moreno, Hillis is poised to get some touches in every game in 2009.
