
(NECN/NBC: Farmingdale, N.Y.) - The 109th U.S. Open was extended to at least one more day at Bethpage Black. Another rainy day on Sunday delayed the start of the third round, but the leaders finally finished that one, and have started the final round. Play will continue on Monday. Just two holes into their fourth and final round, Ricky Barnes and Lucas Glover were tied for the tournament lead at 7-under par. Those two were well ahead of the next group of players, sitting at 2-under par. Among those players were Phil Mickelson and David Duval. read more
