Barclay's Triumph: Star Trek Voyager

Lt. Reginald Barclay is smarter and more imaginative than almost anyone around him, but he doesn't deal well with people which results in Lt. Barclay being constantly underestimated. Most actors could not pull this kind of acting job off convincingly, but Dwight Schultz makes it look easy. In this episode Lt. Barclay comes up with a radical new theory to communicate through subspace using a micro worm hole to halfway across the galaxy where the starship Voyager was taken; in spite of a boss who continually puts down his imaginative ideas.
