Kanye West, Fall Out Boy and Usher all turned out for the Be The Change party in Washington, DC celebrating Barack Obama's inauguration. Mr Obama and wife Michelle attended the MTV Youth Inauguration Ball to celebrate the massive turn out of young voters during the election. Last year a record 24 million Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 voted in the presidential polls. West kicked off the show with hits including Touch The Sky, Stronger and Good Life and said he was so excited to be part of the occasion. "As optimistic as I am, I still can't believe. I feel like I'm in the future. First iPods and now this," he said. The show was presented by Grammy award-winning singer Usher and actress Rosario Dawson. They were joined by a host of famous faces including Kid Rock, The Beastie Boys, Santogold, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.
