Goran Svilanovic, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Montenegro, underlined the need for the EU to make a clear commitment with the Western Balkans. He explained that Europe will not be finished until these countries are given a clear date for accession, that Serbia's situation is the same as that of Poland or Slovakia 10 years earlier, but with three different and major challenges: Kosovo's situation and final status, collaboration with The Hague Tribunal and relations with the State Union partner, Montenegro.
