Nasa Astronauts have completed a seven-hour spacewalk to makes repairs on the orbiting international space station. Shuttle Endeavour astronauts Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper and Stephen Bowen completed the gruelling mission as the station sailed about 225 miles above the Earth. The pair worked together inside one of the ten-foot wide rotary joints that pivot the station's solar wings so they can face the sun for power. Further spacewalks are planned to make further repairs. The shuttle is scheduled to depart the station on Thursday and return home to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida next Saturday.
