It has been home to a giant sun, a sculpture that looked like it was made of sugarlumps and an installation that was just sounds. But the latest offering, in the style of a Helter Skelter amusement park ride, makes Tate Modern's vast Turbine Hall more like a playground than a home to contemporary art. Five slides, each made of gleaming stainless steel and acrylic, allow spectators to become participants. The highest slide starts at the top of the building and runs fifty eight metres to its bottom.
