Guenter Grass's admission coincides with the publication of his autobiography - and fellow Nobel Prize winner Lech Walensa has accused him of a publicity stunt. Both of them have honorary citizenship of the Polish city of Gdansk - and Walensa has threatened to resign his title because - in his words - "I don't want to be in the same club with such a person".
