Mexican soccer club America was training in a humid Buenos Aires on Tuesday (December 4) ahead of the second leg of the Copa Sudamericana (South American Cup) final against Arsenal on Wednesday. Argentine side Arsenal stunned America in the first leg of the final last week, coming from behind to beat the Mexicans 3-2 on their own turf. For America coach Daniel Brailovsky the pressure is on, but he said the team isn't rattled. "You see in the training matches that [the players] are good mentally. Of course, we are ready to fight right to the end. We think we are going to make a big effort to take the Cup home with us," said Brailovsky. The players seemed to know it will be a hard match. Though they were still positive. "It is a team that deserves respect. It is a team that positions itself well in the stadium. They don't just go out there and see what will happen, they are always well positioned and looking for an opportunity to get in there. So we have to get out there and attack and put ourselves forward to take ourselves to victory," said Alejandro Arguello. Rodrigo Lopez added: "Complicated match, knowing that Arsenal has an advantage and obviously it is a difference but we can overcome it no worries." If Arsenal win the cup it will be their first major trophy. The Copa Sudamericana is the region's equivalent of Europe's UEFA Cup.
